Casavacanzekastalia: Private holiday homes inside the Athena Resort Tourist Village in Ragusa for summer holidays (partner Alpitour - Lookéa Club).
The tourist village where there are holiday homes, is located in Kamarina, in South Eastern Sicily, it is the only village inside the "Riserva Naturale Orientata del Pino d'Aleppo", in the area of the ancient Greek city, a short distance from the archaeological site of Kamarina, among the most important in Sicily.
The tourist village is located in the territory of Ragusa, in one of the municipalities of the Val di Noto (in 2002, it was included among the Italian sites of the UNESCO World Heritage List for its splendid late Baroque cities, the eight Baroque cities of the valley: Caltagirone, Militello in Val di Catania, Catania, Modica, Noto, Palazzolo, Ragusa and Scicli).
We are also in the ideal position to visit the Greek city of Syracuse, Gela and Agrigento, the Villa Romana del Casale in Piazza Armerina, the cuisine and fresh local fish of Scoglitti (seaside village), taste chocolate in Modica, visit the places of Inspector Montalbano (Punta Secca km.14 The House of Montalbano), the Donnafugata Castle just 8 km away, the Randello reserve just 4 km away (equipped pine forest with free access to the golden sandy beach, the Scoglitti seafront with several km of golden beaches where every afternoon (from Monday to Friday) the fishermen dock with their boats at the small port and sell the catch of the day in whole crates, or even stay inside the Village to live in total relaxation in the midst of nature taking advantage of the comforts of the house and the equipment that the village offers.
To sum up, ours is an area kissed by the sun and the sea, with a coast of golden sand and with seabeds suitable for children. So much Culture mixed with History Arab, Greek, Norman, Art Tradition and the Flavors of Mediterranean Cuisine
From October to March inside the Tourist Village, there are no tourist hotel activities, there is no other activity available, therefore even if the house is equipped with all the comforts to live well both in summer and winter, for the bar, supermarkets, pizzerias, restaurants, banks etc .... you can go to the town of Scoglitti just 4 km from the Tourist Village. Therefore you need a car to get around. -
Inside the Village there are always available to guests, even in winter (but without lighting) tennis courts, soccer fields, pine forest with outdoor games for children. -
From April to September, there are tourist hotel activities, those who come to stay at our house also enjoy all the services that an International Tourist Village can offer (access to the private beach equipped with bar and restaurant with free use of deckchairs and umbrellas, shuttle service included), access and use of the Olympic swimming pool, use of mini and junior club, all daily entertainment activities and evening shows with final group dances……… A lot of fun.
The Village is always equipped with a concierge for entrance open 24 hours a day, maximum security inside the village and total privacy. -

The Houses:
Casavacanzekastalia 2 “La Rossa”: Apartment with 6 beds, located on the first floor, consists of - large living room kitchen with balcony facing south (where you can see the sea) with a double sofa bed, kitchen complete with 4 burners, electric oven, fridge with freezer, dishwasher, complete with pots and pans for cooking and cleaning, digital TV, coffee machine, microwave, toaster, iron and ironing board, vacuum cleaner, air conditioning/heat pump, everything you need to live well both in winter and summer. - The double bedroom, equipped with digital TV, air conditioning/heat pump, balcony on the parking side, mosquito nets, safe in the wardrobe; - another room with 2 single beds (if necessary they can be joined and made into a double bed) with window on the parking side equipped with mosquito nets; complete bathroom with shower, hairdryer and washing machine available.
PORTABLE WI-FI available, equipped with batteries, to take with you to visit the most beautiful places in Sicily. -
Private brick barbecue and small iron barbecue in the private parking under the house. -
The apartment is located 2 steps from the hotel, the Olympic swimming pool, the mini club and the shuttle parking area that takes you to the private beach. -
Inside the village always available at just 200 meters the tennis courts, the children's games and then the pine forest with other games for children together with the mini golf and the soccer fields. -
Many other parking spaces available. -
Binding Rule: The holiday homes from mid-June to mid-September, are rented only for weekly rentals, with entry on Saturday afternoon and exit the following Saturday morning, by 10:00. -
For all other periods rentals are accepted even for a few days, depending on the season. -
Attention: the house is rented in a residence formula, therefore, food and drinks are excluded
In addition to this, always inside the tourist village, we have 2 other holiday homes.
PLEASE NOTE: a payment of €1.50 per person/day is required for the tourist tax (to be paid on site)
